Milwaukee's newest 18 volt, 9.0 Ah battery has certainly been the topic of conversation at the tool trailer.

As tool users as well as tool tester and reviewers, this battery is a pretty exciting step toward a full cordless replacement for high demand tools.

Now you can use tools like the hole-hawg, a SDS drills or the new  M18 miter saw and achieve the power needed and a higher run-time.

A lot of tool companies are working toward the goal of a cordless replacement. Some companies want you to buy a new platform of tools, others want you to pair up two batteries.  Milwaukee is dedicated to serving their 100+ tool platform by focusing on making one battery that is fully compatible with the M18 platform.

What will they think of next?

Milwaukee M18 RADIUS LED Compact Site Light 2145-20

Let’s talk lumens. This Site Light puts off 4400 lumens of light when set on high, that's pretty enlightening!

It's also bright enough to work with, and to provide serious general lighting in large work-spaces.

The Milwaukee M18 RADIUS LED Compact Site Light is designed as a general light and I envision this as a viable replacement for string lighting or temporary work lighting. The light provides 360 degrees of area light, overhead light or it can also be adjusted for 180 degrees or task lighting.

Milwaukee Fastback Compact Flip Utility Knife Review

Image
The Fastback Compact Flip Utility Knife was designed to keep all the core features that people have come to love about the Fastback but in a smaller, lighter form factor.

It still tucks into the pocket, still deploys quickly, and it is still easy to change out the blade.
